Briggs has bad Asthma ya know?
First HW champ with Asthma I think.
Apparently he is even spokesman a new Asthma medicine or machine or some such ****. Briggs gonna use his boxing to promote like Foreman promoted the grill.

You think Briggs is worse than Buster Douglas and Rahman?
Not sure. I think Briggs cold handle those guys. Plus,Shannon also won WBO belt. Pretty good fighter dont you think? Not great but...good.

That Vitali didn't manage to get a one-handed Briggs out of there tells you all you need to know.

Shannon was a much higher quality fighter when he was trained by Teddy Atlas

Shannon was a great talent in his prime, will always remember his KO win against Liahkovic in the last second of the fight when he was behind on points

pity that he took that beating from Vitali, he could of done without it

Thing with Briggs was he sold fights to the average schmuck that didnt know **** about boxing. I overheard a guy at my local saying "I am going to get the PPV for sure! That big American is going to hammer the Ukranian. Look at the muscles on the ****, he is like the new Tyson"

    jesus christ :rofl

buster and rahman had to beat atgs somewhat near their prime(tho neither tyson or lewis were on their games) to become lineals. briggs decisoned a semi active 45 year old plus foreman, so these facts alone elevate them over briggs as lineal in my opinion. aside from that, both buster and hasim could beat briggs imo (all depends when the match was made obviously)

Briggs couldn't have beat Rahman or Douglas.
Not without a huge slice of luck.

Maybe, maybe when he was relatively trim, around the Foreman, Lewis fights time. But not the bloated version.
