Did Sonnen lost gas and can't follow up or Silva suddenly had TDD?

I like Silva. I think he is class and all. But truth is, he got dominated for about 99% of the time in their 1st part.

 

He got dominated for 75% of the rematch too.

Still got the belt though

 

And maybe Spiderman would beat Liu Kang out of Mortal Kombat II.

Hendo had his chance at Silva and he couldn't control him enough to land blizzards of solid GnP.

Sonnen had two chances at Silva and couldn't even put a dent in him on the ground.

Yes, if Dr Frankenstein created a mutant version of Sonnen and Henderson then allowed that mutant to use HGH in the build-up to the fight, it may be able to take Silva down and do some serious damage.

But back here on planet Earth, such a fighter does not exist at 185lbs, so it's a moot point.

If Anderson Silva had the submission skills of a prime big Nog or if he had the takedown defence of GSP, he'd have beaten Sonnen even easier both times. And the point of this is...?

 

Chael definitely lost gas and didn't have much durability as far as absorbing an attack. I thought he built it up too much in his mind consquence of that is burning himself out. Silva while getting his ass kicked again was in the fight and would have been ready at any point during the 5 rounds to launch his attacks. As his fight with hendo can back up. Chael might have the right stuff to dominate silva but being a winner is something different
