did spadafora win?

Judah was never anything special he was hyped by people like Kellernan. Judah is a Glass Jawed Quitter. He has no Chin, no heart, and no brain.

Despite having about 10 more chances than Spadafora when was the last time he won a big fight? :huh

 

i know i'm in the minority here, but i thought judah did beat mattysse by a couple points despite being knocked down. that to me is his last significant win.

 

Judah has had more chances than anyone not named Hasim Rahman yet continues to **** the bed in every single one of them. He can be doing fine in a fight then completely fall apart I have never seen anything like it.

 

...wait wait wait.....so Judah is nothing special even though he has been a world champion and faced world champion calibre fighters.....but Paul here is something special because.....what exactly? if you can recognize Paul's talent surely you can recognize Zab's if not then i dont know what else to say.

and Judah won a SD against Matthyse...anyways i think Spaddy vs Zab would be a great measuring stick for Paul and Zab actualy.

 

He's definitely the most talented yet mentally weak fighter i have ever seen. it's a shame cause i see so much natural talent in him. thats how he gets me to keep watching and betting on him for the upset cause it seems he has more talent then any guy he's ever been in the ring with except mayweather.

 

Wasn't even comparing the two was just laughing at you even bringing up Judah who despite having chance after chance for some reason keeps failing and either getting KOed or quits. I have not once said Spadafora was a great fighter. Ever.

Judah was all hype. If he was from Kansas instead of Brooklyn nobody would know who he was.

 

Zab keeps failing against top calibre fighters....is Spaddy that or would Zab be a good measuring stick seeing as how top fighters usualy beat Zab

and i never said you compared them but i mentioned zab and spaddy and you stated Zab was awful..(which i disagree) as if Spaddy was or is on different level...am i wrong in this assumption?

Too many people still hop on him about his personal life. Was like 10 years ago. People on here dont even know what happened. About 5 of you said false ****. "hes a heroin addict". no the hell he wasnt. An if you met paul you would see hes not bad at all. One of the most laid back people i know. Anyways He needs to get the ball rolling which hes doin now.

 

There isn't much vague & murky or subject to interpretation about having been convicted for extreme domestic violence...popping caps in unborn babies like...

Buddy, he is a recovering heroine addict. He recently got out of rehab. SI just did a piece about it;

By summer, Spadafora's team had grown increasingly optimistic that the fight would come to fruition. Spadafora spent long hours at the gym with a renewed sense of purpose. It seemed as if he was finally headed in the right direction. Once again, he had motivation.

And then -- POOF -- the opportunity disappeared. Mayweather signed to fight Victor Ortiz in August 2011. Spadafora was shattered. "All year long I was told I'm fighting Mayweather," he says. "I had went a year without fighting anyone. I didn't even have enough money to buy a soda. I thought, No Mayweather fight, I'm done."

Spadafora sank into a deep depression that fall and was arrested twice in two months for driving under the influence of alcohol. Months behind on child support payments, he squatted in an abandoned apartment that lacked heat, running water and electricity. Each day he'd cry, snort cocaine, smoke crack and then cry some more as he pondered the desultory path of his career and the systematic deterioration of his life. He'd rest an AK-47 assault rifle on his lap and gaze at it for hours. He was a lot like the gun -- loaded and dangerous. "I was ready to rob and kill a drug dealer," he says. "I had it justified in my mind."

Following a heroin binge that nearly killed him, Spadafora had a moment of clarity. He needed help, and fast. Desperate, he reached out to a friend with connections at the local chapter of the Pittsburgh Boilermaker's Union. Through the Union's financial backing, Spadafora was offered a paid sponsorship at Transitions Recovery Program. The plush North Miami Beach rehabilitation center served a clientele that included Hollywood celebs and professional athletes. Without hesitation, he boarded a plane for Florida the next morning.

Just to remain undefeated is a big thing admist all these personal problems he had to endure. He is a father now so has adopted a clean way of living. Hopefully Roy will get him the right fights. Staying undefeated in America is very hard.... Spaddy did that. He just needs to be matched carefully to bring out the best in him. He says he wants to fight the best... just one opportunity.

Talks are happening with Karim Mayfield as a possible opponent. Paul isn't getting any younger. Lets hope he can become champion before he retires.
