His never gone beat either Klitschko, so as long as they are on top and he doesn't need the money, theres no point for him to fight.
Correct. I don't think he has completely retired. In the future I can't see why not arrange a fight with one reigning hw (not Klitschko ) . Just like Vitali did with Peter.
If that's really the case he can sleep well knowing he's a shoe in for the role of Barney Rubble if there is ever another real live movie
Someone on here said that Sultan was planning a comeback, but that's just what a poster said, I really have no idea but it'd be nice to have him back in boxing.
Its kind of remarkable if he did, most guys have to get forced out of the business. But he beat some good fighters, won a belt, and took a shot at the top heavyweight in the world but was just too small for him. Not a bad career at all! And add to that he was a top amateur fighter. If that is his legacy then he might not have anything left to prove to himself.
Maybe true but Sultan's respectable power & the timing of his counters is being a bit under rated here at ESB. Good speed & overall defense too. That's a large part of the reason Wladimir didn't take more chances against him. Simply enough, Sultan didn't make m,any mistakes for Wladimir to take advantage of. That's the sign of a smart, defensive fighter.
Sultan was actually scheduled to fight Chagaev nov 2007, but Chagaev pulled out because of an injury. He then fought Klitschko instead. Can't question the man's balls. I hope he continues to box for at least a few more years, though. He's invested so much of his life in this and is very skilled with fast hands.
