WTF is wrong with Ronnie Shields not showing any concern for Szpilka while he was KTFO on the ground and slappin Deontay's ass and huggin him. Thats ****ed up. I heard **** about Shields before this fight how he turned in a fighter to Haymon and some other **** about him how he works for Haymon and **** like that. Szpilka never had a chance with that ******* in his corner. **** Ronnie Shields. I used to think he was ok until I heard some stories before this fight and then I saw that exhibition he put on while his fighter could have been ****in dead. Those people who told me **** about Shields was right.
This is Szpilka getting out the hospital, Ronnie Sheilds giving words of encouragement. Calm down. There's no conspiracy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3IvckPCpco&index=6&list=LL1xn0hFP1Dp1OVZ9i74bw3A What are you talking about no chance, the gameplan was solid and that was the best Szpilka anybody has seen. This videeo shows Szpilka got a bit too brave after taking some good Wilder shots and thought he could take them as he talks about Wilder's power up to the point he got KO'd, which he doesn't remember.
Wow, that rant didn't quite follow the threads title... So I'll comment if Spzilka's stock did rise. I believe it did. He'll be there or there abouts putting on decent tests for prospects coming through, and possibly in the future getting another crack or two at certain belts. He's still young, and I hope that he will continue to improve. I believe he made a good fist of those rounds, and while I wished he was a big more aggressive when he had Wilder arms raised, back peddling, he did show good movement. We'll see more of Spzilka hopefully in the future.
Having never seen him, I thought he gave a good account of himself. I'd like to see him fight some more. Let him fight Martin.
I hope your right. He has improved. He will never be big enough for the big heavies but the dude has got heart and he showed a lot of angles and head movement.
:good I appreciate the video. I tell ya the people who told me **** about Shields don't lie. I know he has to make a living also but from the **** I heard (which I didn't believe ) and the **** I saw he could be snake in the grass thats all. No biggie. Good fight. Deontay is pretty good for somebody still learning on the job.
Artur's stock did rise. It was a very entertaining fight ... and he went down fighting. That's what people want in heavyweights. There's no shame in a loss like that. Everyone who watched the fight thought he performed very well. Everyone would tune in to watch him fight again. That's what it's all about.
Like that smart dude said don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. I will go back to keep liking Shields. Ya gotta admit he did a hell of a job with Artur in a short amount of time. **** with the head movement and angles he was using it was like watching a heavy Pac Man LOL. Dubblechin is right about what people want to see in heavyweights. I even watched it again tonight and I must say I was entertained. I tell ya, even though everybody says he sucks, if Deontay keeps improving this division is going to be awesome to watch because that power he brings is fxcking exciting. Fury-Wilder will be an epic battle. I disagree with Artur about Povetkin killing Wilder I give it to Wilder 60-40.
I would definitely say his stock rose. Everyone knows who he is now Heavyweight division is one of the best in boxing now Ortiz, Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Parker, Jennings, Martin, Ouuuuu!!!
You don't get to fight for a strap, after you got KTFO trying to fight for a strap. No his stock didn't rise, it declined, because he got brutally knocked unconscious.
It rose in defeat He was given virtually no chance and many had him ahead or even after 8 (not me but plenty on here) Much like Jennings in his defeat to Wlad he fought a very game effort and will be rewarded with another high profile fight much like Jennings got Ortiz. Szpilka will probably get a guy like Glaskov after they both recover
The first part of your statement of course, is correct. Though I think it would be a fun fight to watch, which as a fan, is my primary concern. The second part of your statement is entirely subjective and you appear to be in the minority, thankfully.
