With all the talk of them fighting now after Loma struggled with an opponent Tank destroyed, does anyone know for sure that Tank wanted no part of Loma when he was @130?
Basically this. Despite Davis having power he’s still relatively green and would get neutralized and beaten by Loma. You need a combination of skill, power, and experience to beat Loma, which Davis at the moment just doesn’t have.
Tsyzu TKO2 Judah Floyd WUD Judah - Floyd got dropped and lost 3 or 4 rounds to him Floyd fans who also happen to be Twink fans: ''Tszyu beats Floyd'' Oh wait lol
Lol Davis has got some air time off of Loma this past week... How desperate is your career when you are having to play to the gallery with triangle theory over some guy (Pedraza) who in truth is just another tick on Lomas increasingly impressive roster.. Whereas Pedraza is Davis' best win by a mile! Loma styles on this fat lesbian... If you want to play them games them maybe tank Davis can explain why he's fighting a guy coming off a loss & who was knocked out in ONE round by a GRJ victim in 2013? At least Pedraza had something Loma needed, another title..
Floyd apparently wouldn't let him, and Tank was happy to look the other direction. So yes, in a sense.
I disagree, Floyd definitely knew Tank wasn't ready, Tank if left to his own devices would've likely fought Loma (that would've been foolish at the time though). I think in no way was Tank afraid to fight anyone (Loma or Farmer). Probably one of the many issues Tank has with his promotion.
You don't get to claim not ready when you hold a title. Win a belt, you have shown you are now on another level, not prospect level.
Maybe he did. I don't know, but he shouldn't. That's a great and winnable (I favor Loma by a little) fight for him and would make him big news one would think.
I don't disagree with you, I've actually said this about this fight, I think Floyd is the sole architect of the sidestep though.
And even if he wasnt ready then so what? What could be the worst thing that happens? He loses? Ok, so what? This obsession with avoiding losses is bad for the sport.
