yup, Im sick with all the catch weight crap, but I agree it's his team. Leave it up to Pac and he would fight anyone even Mayweather without the catch weights. but his Team has caused his victories to be questioned.

If that's true it's pathetic. This fight shouldn't be for a vacant strap as it is.

boxing is a nasty sport....you really think capetillo is the only one that tried that **** ????

i would start blaming trainers and not the fighters...fighters depend on their team to take care of them 100%

Roach has nothing to do with it, it's Pacquiao and his people.

Same deal when Roach claimed he agreed to testing up to the fight during both negoiciations. People starting to see a pattern.

Well Roach is 'his people'. But, you're saying that Manny himself negotiates these weights? You may be right, but I doubt it.

No but freie solved this by giving pac an extra knuckle by testig out what method of illegal wrap could be used and didnt even get pulled up about it despite being on hbo and there for everyone to see.

Therefore since the oscar fight pac has been fighting with loaded gloves.

Using weight drainage to handicap opponents is very different compared to making them wear "your" gloves like Oscar did to Floyd or Morales did to emmanuel.

It's marg though, so he can get the feel of being handicapped. I don't why everyone else doesn't like this, but for me it's the title at a catchweight.

Roach thinks its his job to make sure that his fighter has an easy fight. He doesn't want his fighter to just win, he wants his fighters to have absolutely no chance of losing.

Freddie Roach " I want my fighter to fight the weakest opponent when we get in the ring."

On the same card isn't Pavlik fighting at a catch weight of 164 or 165 because he can't make 160. Why not fight at 168 then! This is seriously daft considering he's fighting a guy who more than likely hasn't even been in the same arena with someone as good as Pavlik.

they're all nothing but tactics to get your opponent in the ring at less than 100%. At least when Pac does it, his opponent already has the advantage of fighting Pac at a catchweight that he has no business fighting at in the first place.
