I've seen this whole time that the weight is 151 in pretty much every article i've read regarding it. This whole 150 thing is news to me. 151 is closer to JrMW than Welter, and he's not fighting someone who's shot, regardless of what everyone is saying. Losing to Mosley because you got your face smashed for 8 straight rounds before he went down for good in the 9th is expected, Mosley loaded up on basically every shot.
I see the whole point making anyone go down weight and all.. Its not pacs fault i guess that margos SLOW AS **** as you say hes been like that ever since his game plan is to wear and tear his opponents down.. what my point is try to look at at least in pacs side.. im not saying you jump in like agreeing and everything but put a little perspective.. He's moving up dont you think also pacs going to lose some speed because he is bigger? i just dont get it why they dicredit him all of a sudden.. he is smaller and it wouldnt be an easy fight.. he is actually also conceeding to margo. Margos really durable and wont be easy to push around..
yeah probably  i don't see why the 154 belt is on the line at 150 pac can make 147/148 anyway and his only advantage is speed and movement so what difference does it make if he is 148 and tony is 150+ in the ring :huh will slow tony down and pac will be fast just more diva **** from roach's rules martinez will be next for the 160 belt at 149.5 lbs :-roll:
come on.....so what Floyd is smaller than his opponents at WW...do you see him getting any leway(spelling)? Floyd and Pac are both small WW....i would say the difference at WW is merely 2 inches in height....their bodies are very similar. Pac has fought 147 twice - Clottey Oscar 140 - Diaz Hatton 145 - Cotto 151- Margo thats 6 fights above or around 140 4 of which are well above 140......no am i saying he is a natural at the wieght no but you cant sit here and keep saying he has no buisness at these weights yet he is destroying the people at these weights......his size has nothing to do with it, he has shown he can beat the best of the big guys....stop trying to use the "he has no business being there" excuse when he has steam rolled 4 guys above 145 all bigger than him!
Pac fought Diaz at 135 when he made his LW title grab but I get what you're saying. Pac has grown into a small WW. Margo was categorized as a supernaturally large WW. So you can't say he's small for the weight any longer, i believe, but he's small compared to Margo.
Not many fighters sell themselves as a "8 weight world champion". Claiming weights, on cheap wins is nasty
That's complete and utter BS. Team Pacquiao dictate Arum. Not the other way around. I read an Arum interview once, when he had to spend an entire week to get Pacquiao to accept Cotto at the agreed catchweight. He wanted it lower
Pacquiao doesn't talk to the media as he can't go 2 minutes without making a mistake. He usually has Knocz stood behind him, during interviews, to correct him when he's made some stupid claim. Roach and Arum do his talking for him
Roach screwed Oscar. He made him agree to come into the ring at the same weight as Pacquiao for the fight. He wouldn't make the deal without that agreement. Oscar at Welterweight usually boxes at about 167. To get the fight he had to box at 147, in ring. Oscar was heavier than that as a super featherweight
Why the hell wouldn't his team? They'll do whatever they can get away with to give Pacman a big advantage. Can't say I blame them since they get away with it. It's just funny how his fans refuse to see anything negative about him. Dude shows a picture of Manny and Mayweather being close to the same size after stating Roach says Manny's a legit WW now, and the reply is "Roach says a lot of stuff" lol. It's a picture not Roach! Despite popular belief Manny is not a God.
It's not an excuse man. Really isn't. Manny was 146 in ring against Marquez at Super Feather. He was 147 in ring versus Morales in their 3rd fight. He's always boxed in ring at that sort of weight. Guys like Zab Judah and floyd Mayweather, have been fighting at Welter, in ring, at about 146-147 for years. They don't need catchweights. Zab was 145 in ring versus Josh Clottey. Lighter than Manny was at super feather!?
