There's a massive difference between Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis.
Tyson, for all his ability, speed and power, was a short heavyweight.
There's no evidence that Ruddock would ever have done well against someone like Lewis.
Prime Lewis was a couple of levels above an overweight, washed-up gassed-out Bonecrusher Smith. And Ruddock didn't exactly have an easy time with Smith remember.

Razor fought a stupid fight against Lennox. Jabbing to the body way out of range without protecting his chin!? Reminds me of Douglas's uppercut against Holyfield that landed nowhere near it's target and lead to a huge opening to be countered. Both cases lead to the knockout punch.

    Exactly.
I'd say Ruddock fought a stupid fight against Tyson too, if we're honest.

I think those fights took something out of him. At the very least, his confidence must have taken a nosedive.

But that said, I'm not sure the fight with Lewis actually lasted long enough for any diminished physical or mental ability to show itself.
Ruddock was in trouble early in that fight and he never recovered from the first knockdown really.

Can we agree that after Tyson AND Lewis, Ruddock definitely wasn't the same?

Yes, although I think taking ample time off from the ring following the Lewis fight also contributed to his deterioration.. By the time he fought Morrison years later, he was a noticeably diminished fighter.

Yeah, I agree with all of that.

Lewis has said in many interviews that he as a tactic went ruthlessly after tall fighter's early on in the fight to get them out of there as soon as possible.

Born and raised man, where are you from?? I'm on my iPhone in bed and I don't think I can see that from this mobile version.

No Atlas huh? He's had some success wouldn't you say, personally I'm not a huge fan of the guy but he'd of been better than Patterson lol.. But you nailed it with Manny, everyone he trained got better. Funny Moorer and Manny split and he ended up with Atlas.
