Did the 2015 Wladimir have a decline in speed, reflexes since the 2007-2011 version?

Was Wlad physically deteriorated when he fought fury?

    Yes.

It's been evident for the last couple of years, no more so than the Jennings fight. He's also reluctant to fully commit to the right hand.

Wlad was a well preserved 39 year old. His brother was less so at 39 and was plagued with injuries. But Vitali was still crushing everybody in front of him and seen as unstoppable.
Wlads body was in much better shape. He'd still punch a hole in all the Brocks, Austins, Pianeta's , etc.

The problem he had was the opponent. Not himself.

Yes, Wladimir's been on a decline for some time now. He's well past his best and Fury with his height, movement, and range is a bad style matchup for a Wladimir who can't really pull the trigger or commit to power shots anymore.

Maybe a bit slower but he's in remarkable shape for a guy who's been fighting for twenty years, most of them as a champion.

    Absolutely.

It was masked because pulev fought him in a phone booth and it was on clear display against Jennings who would have been kayoed by an early wlad.

Unless fury fights dumb, I just don't know if wlad can cut off the ring and kayo him.

Yes, he's getting older, slower. Also he may have been getting complacent. He's so used to rolling over the opposition that he didn't know what to do when finally faced with a big guy with skills. I and many others underestimated Fury, and I bet Wlad did too.

No doubt in my mind wlad looked at him like a slightly more skilled wach.
