Did the Americans cry so loud and long when Calzaghe got SD over Hopkins?

Why would that skew your view?

Just score what you see, if anything you'll be more accurate.

Those same American fans of Dirrell are trying to influence the judges for the Kessler fight, which is in Ward's hometown, with Ward's referee, judges, commentators, etc.

Why would anyone want to see a rematch of fights that stink the joint up?

If a fighter comes to spoil and run and doesnt get the nod **** em. Its a fight and they were paid to fight and provide entertainment - if they failed on either count whether the scoring was close or not bollocks to them.

I'd rather see Froch rematch Pascal any day of the week than Dirrell and would have rather Cazaghe in with Kesler again rather than Hopkins in a rematch.

Y'know Froch probaly did deserve to lose but do you think, if a UK fighter went to the states and fought as negqatively as Direll did he would expect to walk away with the belt ? and do you think the Americans would be caling it a robbery.

Froch got the benefit of the doubt as the champ in his own backyard but its not as if he's made a career out of doing so , but some of our American cousins are annoyed at the strenght of the european contingent of this tourney so are kicking off more than is really justifed.

The Calzaghe-Hopkins debates lasted for months in the General Forum. One weirdo rewatched the full fight, stopping to take notes on every single exchange, then posted a painfully detailed, obviously biased case for a clear Hopkins victory.

Bernard was not "old" when he fought Joe. Bernard has a certain pace he always feels comfortable at and he was unable to dictate the flow of that fight that's why you saw him take a knee off a suspect low blow (smart move) but let's tell it like it is, Bernard got tired for the 1st time ever. Joe throwing punches in abundance from crazy angles will do that. Joe won that more decisively then Dirrell and the discerning among us know it.

If B-Hop would have beat Joe I dont think that there would have been much arguements...it could have gone either way on the scorecards...Very close...:yep

Yes he was old. Admittedly Hopkins is a freak who has retained a decent level of stamina and handspeed for a man his age (due to genetics and looking after himself to an obsessive degree) but if you think he had the same level of fitness as the buzzsaw who destroyed the likes of Johnson, Echols and Trinidad, then you are wrong.

Robbery?! Hell no! Called a robbery by biased fans of Dirrell. I refuse to give any points for holding, running, falling down on canvas and complaining. Dirrell fans think that is boxing?! Yeah, but if it were Froch who did such they would not. I am tired of all the lies by the biased. I saw the fight and Froch won fair and square. OK, should Dirrell practice falling down on canvas for his next fight? Running, complaining and holding? I guess Dirrell's fans will tell him to do such. Boxing, no, holding, running, complaining, and falling down on canvas, yes, that is how you win a fight!

Calzaghe would have beaten them both in one night. He was awesome. His style was wrong for Hopkins young or old.

And yet was is the same Calzahge in there who broke his hand multiple times and can no longer puch with impunity? No, it wasn't.

B-Hops loss comes sandwiched in between Tarver and Pavlik wins.

This comes up all the time with older fighters. It wan't Hopkins at his best and it was not Calzaghe at his best.

I had Hopkins beating Calzaghe by the odd point because Calzaghe hardly landed an effective punch all night, he seemed to get points for running forward and throwing his usual inaccurate flurries, having said that Hopkins was lazy and hardly did any work. It was close and it could have gone either way. Dirrell v Froch was in no way 'an obvious Direll win', i had it close, it could have gone either way and it went to the hometown Froch. Theres no controversy in these 2 fights at all, just 2 close fights that people could have watched and scored totally differently ..
