Did the British fans make the PBF VS Hatton fight more exciting than it really was?

It really is nothing personal......our anthem doesn't mean that much to us as it obviously does to you.....it was just ignorance from the Brit fans, not pure hate.

Happens in football to us and we give it back aswell....just a light hearted thing, no need to take it to heart.

I thought it was fairly funny, the guy singing it was really getting upset. But I really dont think we care about our anthem as much as Americans.

Saying that, I dnt really think National Anthems have a place in boxing, boxers dont fight for their country, they fight for themselves. Im British and I was cheering on Mayweather, does that make me less patriotic? No.

Dont think they made the fight exciting. They made it hard to hear Mayweather punching Hatton's face, though.

I can't believe people can get that excited about darts! Still cool though.

I was also there and it was definitely a minority no doubt about that.

No booing of the American anthem either.
