    A resounding no.
It may be for all the wrong reasons, but it has got people talking about the division that used to be the pinnacle of sporting achievment.I'm not saying it's the Klitschkos' fault, but the division has benn dying a long, agonising death in recent years.
Anything that makes it more interesting is good.Just a shame all these pathetic liberals like Nina Myskow used it as a dreadful excuse to attack boxing.Anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows they were talking superflous drivel.

    Here's the thing.

Fighting hasn't ruined the reputation of hockey, baseball, football, futbol, basketball, or anything else. So why should a brawl hurt boxing of all sports?!?!?

I think internationally no it hasn't. As a couple of other guys have already said brawls like this are all part of the scene particularly with the HWs and become boxing folklore, I always think Frazier- Ali in that tiny TV studio in the 70s.
But because both the fighters were Brits and it happened on the international stage it’s not good for British boxing. I think the rest of the casual boxing world will forget it, the hardcore boxing world will always remember it, but the British boxing scene will totally condemn it and I’m sure it’ll have repercussions in the UK via the BBBC.

that brawl would hurt the image of a wholesome sport, boxing is not a wholesome sport, in and out of the ring, not to mention it isn't popular enough to take a huge hit unless it involves pacquiao or mayweather, the two most recognizable fighters on the planet.

Boxing's image couldn't possibly be damaged any further, so you might as well grab as much publicity as you can!

NO... Casual boxing fans enjoy that crap. They'll be fined and then have a PPV against eachother and everyone will make some big cash.
