Did the judges score the Broner fight correctly?

Can charitably give Broner 4 rounds. Very charitable though. Broner got hurt in 4 different rounds that I recall including the two KDs, and the only time he hurt Maidana was after the bell.

Given the way Cole was acting, and the general situation I was pretty sure there was going to be a robbery until the second KD. Even with the point deducted for headbutt it was just too obvious by that point that Broner was getting dominated to pull it off without SHTF, so we had the most accurate scoring we had seen in a while.

 

That should have been point deduction there, but not surprised ref was slightly in favor of Broner.

Broner got dominated and won two clear rounds, tops. At most you could say he "squeaked" two more. You can't give him more than four, period. Six is laughable.

I had it 117-108 Maidana (base score of 118-110 or 10-2 in rounds before factoring in the point deduction against Maidana and two knockdowns against Broner) and nobody outside Broner stans had it much closer, with not even the worst of them going so far as to suggest he earned a draw...let alone win.

 

:deal, If Broner had been given 6 rounds by the judges it would have been one of the darkest days in Boxing, i would have stopped watching it. I scored it 9-3 Maidana, 2 kd's and won most rounds big, brutal beatdown for Broner.

Broner was lucky to have won two rounds at the most. That fight was not even close even with Broner's criminal referee helping him out...........

I gave Broner 4 rounds, just glad for once that the right man won, would not have been suprised by another Texas shafting.
