Thats funny you said that,cause my dad didnt see the fight and i was giving him a rundown and i told him that Johnson reminds me of a poormans Jimmy Young. I remember though that Young sometimes did bring a passive approach to the ring sometimes (although he still threw alot more punches than Johnson) When i was a kid i remember my Dad saying that Young didnt want to hit guys too hard cause he didnt want to make them Mad lol! But he did have good wins over great opposition i remember my dad being outraged at Ali/Young decision and Young did beat Foreman and Lyle and drew with Shavers and fought evenly with Norton so he definitly was better than Johnson.
I agree with that. The Foreman win just trumps anything Johnson has going for him. And the guy went to the cards with Ali and had a case to get the nod
