because 100 million is nothing if you retire from HW boxing with no brains left to spend it.

the truth is Wlad rules the HW division. I'd like to see him fighting Pulev and the winner of Stiverne - Wilder.

Wlad and Vitali are both smart persons. They won't spend their money like Tyson did.

They gained bigger popularity in the last 10 years or so. So new HW sized athletes go to play football or basketball instead of becoming boxers since it is better paid?

    Lewis was not an American.

    Purrity was stopped by Vitali.
Byrd was beaten TWICE by Wladimir
Brewster lost the rematch with Wladimir.

The Klitschkos have beaten every single American boxer they ever fought.

why would you lie, purity and byrd losses were unavenged.

brewster was when he was aged sufficiently to be beaten.

there is noproblem in admitting to losses. in the movie Klitschko Ks were happy to admit to their losses.

    • Vitali's TKO loss was due to a shoulder injury, not because of Byrd's ability to cope with Vitali's onslaught.
    • Muhammad Ali was 6'3 weighing in at 215 in his PRIME. He wasn't beating anyone in today's era especially when analysts thought Marciano would beat Ali.
    • Wlad's losses to Purrity, or Brewster were based off of circumstance, not the individual abilties of each fighter.
    • Get your head out of your ass and stop exaggerating the defeats of these men into something they are not.

Let's see how good Wilder does if he gets a crack at a 38, or 39 year old Klitschko.

Deontay Wilder literally has the athletic, and physical attributes of an elite NBA player. Let's see if the theory that there are no good American heavyweights because they are onto more lucrative athletic endeavors holds any sort of weight.

Wilder being 6'7, 227 lb. in his last fight, having 84 inch reach, and being ripped to the bone is very reminiscent to someone like Lebron James. Regardless if he started boxing late or not, Wlad is headed on a downward slope, and if the myth of the NBA and NFL stealing away all the best American (I use American as a euphemism) athletes is true, Wilder will be the one to prove it as such considering he is made of the very same cloth that the elite of the NBA are. :bbb

Gyms have been going the way of the dinosaur in the US for decades now.
The talent pool is smaller, and your talent pool is everything.

We do not have a Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, Ali, Foreman or Holmes around now.
Now go to Boxrec, and skim through the US top 25. Tell me how many of them have elite talent, and the look at the dearth of talent of US cruiserweights, which is an obvious sign that small US cruiserweights are competing at HW.
Even with almost all of the US talent of 200lb. and above competing at HW we still have a pitiful talent pool.

There are some talented fighters, but it's not like it used to be.
