Always an excuse....Why can't Manny fans just man up and admit however popular Manny is, he doesnt sell PPV like Floyd.

If he did we know Arum would be screaming from the roof tops.....the fact he is silent speaks volumes.

All you Pac fans are funny....you wanna claim Manny is bigger than Floyd but he has never once exceeded his numbers with common opponent.

what's funny is that before the fight they were shouting how it would blow may/mos ppv #s away because of the showtime/cbs $ and exposure

now it's...ummm, err, it like wasn't really expected to do that well anyway

Maybe emmanuel should fight people actually coming off good wins if he wants to do higher numbers.

It probably did 1.2 and Arum is disappointed as he expected some outrageous number. Anything over 1 million and Pacquiao set a PPV record, but Bob will always find a way to be disappointed.

1.2mil is a good number. They were fairly proud of their antonio 1.15mil numero.

over 1M is hardly disappointing no matter who you are, who it was against, and all that jazzy junk.

He would still be braggin' his ass off if it was even close to that IMO.

It wasn't long ago that over 450K was considered real good if you wasn't named Oscar de la Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, or Tyson vs. Lewis.

Yea but Bob probably thought with the CBS promotion this fight was going to sell over 2mil, when in actuality I think 24/7 on HBO had better ratings than FC360 on CBS. It had a good undercard too.

Why's Bob Arum starting Mayweather rumours about $65 million?

So people don't go "why can't you sell a PPV"

Manny has actually sold millions more PPVs than Floyd and generated tens of millions of dollars more than Floyd. Manny is currently the active fighter who has generated the most money in all of boxing.

Saying that the context doesn't matter would be like saying that Clottey is a bigger draw than Morales because he sold more PPVs when he fought Pac than Morales did. It's just stupid. To say that looking at the context is an excuse is just dumb.
