Did the Thomas v Tyson bout in `87 proved Holyfield could have taken prime Tyson`s best shots?

    Holy got hit too much in the 80`s, look at the first Stewwart fight and the Dokes fights, Douglas was all over the place and out of shape for the Holy fight and threw a lazy shot then got caught by a decent punch then quit, that fight wasn`t credited as a good performance at the time, all people spoke about was how Douglasd quit and didn`t bother training.

    Tyson didnt fight any brawlers in the 80's besides Berbick,,, maybe Smith.... he fought anyone they put in front of him... Ruddock and Stewart had come forward styles but their fights were in the 90's...

    No way could a brawler beat a prime Tyson, he was the best finisher in heavyweight history.

    That has nothing to do with what we were talking about tho Mark.

    Yes with a good jab which makes a difference, Foreman through a lot of long range punches.
