At the scene it reports that Chavez has to face Martinez after Manfredo. Sulaiman says that the Rubio-Lemieux fight was not sanctioned as a final eliminator and therefore Rubio is not the mandatory challenger. So does this mean Rubio paid a fee to become a number one contender who now will have to fight an eliminator before he gets a title shot?
Looks like he got done dirty this time. Hopefully he gets his shot. If not, this is a worthwhile lawsuit.
