Did they FINALLY decide the gloves for May/Cotto yet?

I have read Floyd saying he won't come in at 154, he says he's coming in less than 154. Remember he weighed in at 150lbs against Oscar on the scales, and that fight was a 154 fight, no catchweight. Oscar came in at the full 154.

 

Fair play, But Floyd is a lot thicker than he was back then. He seems to have put a lot more Bulk on.


I am starting to think maybe 147 is getting a little more difficult for him, and although he wont admit it, maybe 154 is a better weight for him.

I think he is coming in Bang on 154 this time, but we shall see.

 

He weighed in at 146, 146.5 and 147 his last 3 fights ... I dont think he has a problem making 147

 

Yeah...and that always surprised me considering how big Floyd was - nevertheless, Welterweight seems to be perfect for him - and his constant physical conditioning between fights helps, too!

 

This is going to be a close fight, no way Floyd KO's him...may beat him wide (possible) but he isn't going to stop him. Fight will be much closer than some act, IMO.

 

With 8 oz, this will make it a little more interesting

 

I think Floyd notices how quickly and often Cottos face swells and gets busted up and he sees the 8oz gloves as a quicker means of doing this....smart move imo

 

Floyd will always be Oscars *****! Floyd couldn't pick the weight class, the gloves, the ring size etc... Oscar laid down the law on Void! :hey
