I noticed that too. In round 8 Porter actually chilled out for a minute and picked his shots carefully. He was getting his shots off first, throwing a 2 or 3 punch combo and then stepping back out. It was working brilliantly but then he just stopped for some reason.

Thurman won the event but Porter bested him in the fight. Porter looked the fresher man after 12. Keith is becoming exposed. Top welterweight of today has no jab? Floyd was right not to waste his time with this "one time" bum.

Thurman landed the harder, cleaner shots. People ringside said that that's why Thurman won. You could hear Thurmans thuds. Similar **** happened when Dlh fought Shane in the rematch. I thought Dlh won, but they said that Shane's shots were harder.

Thurman hurt Porter several times and landed crisper and cleaner shots throughout 12 rounds at a pace of which Floyd would not have weathered !!!

Porter smothers a lot of his work.

It looks like hes being aggressive, but his work isn't clean.

    Depends what judges look for.

Close fight. Ive no prob with Thurman getting the decision.

Great to see 2 top ranked fighters, in their prime going at it.

How often do we see that these days?

Close enough where their needs to be a rematch. I think they could make a trilogy out of it honestly.

Porter tried his best to smother Thurman but Thurman clearly outboxed him. You can't reward ineffective aggression when a guys getting caught with clean hard shots everytime he closes in

Lmao yeah Thurman much better equipped to deal with pressure than the greatest defensive fighter of the last 20 years
