Pathetic attitude? Gary Shaw invests a lot of money in his fighters. You think they are allowed to just fight whoever they want? I don't think so. Bradley would fight Alexander with no problem. Bradley had two mandos due so he couldn't fight both of them. He had to drop one of those belts.

I believe you're wrong on that one cause it was Campbell first legit fight at junior welterweight vs Bradley so there's no way Campbell was the mandatory challenger to Bradley's title.

I don't think Bradley ducked Alexander. What I do think is entirely possible is that in looking at the prospect of Bradley-Alexander, it was determined that it could make much more money if each had time to build the fight up and their own name value with another couple wins in the meantime. Lo and behold, that's what's happening right now. They're emerging as the frontrunners to Pac's 140 title, and should Pac vacate, they'd be fighting for supremacy over one of the deepest divisions in the sport. Waiting to make Bradley-Alexander helped everyone- so long as we see that fight happen if both men keep winning!

Now, this also means that anybody who accuses Pac of ducking Bradley or Alexander while defending the choice of Bradley here really should consider shutting the **** up because the dynamic is the same. It's not just about making the fight, it's about making money. Promoters won't rush the fight if they feel there's more money on the table to be made if the fight takes place a little more down the road. There's no difference between team Pac telling Bradley to keep winning as there is in Bradley telling Alexander to keep winning before the fight happens.

Bradley fought Holt instead of Alexander. People need to get the story right. He didn't have but one mandatory which was Alexander. After he beat Holt he would have had to fight Alexander the next month to keep the WBC. With him collecting another championship he gave up the WBC title because he wasn't going to beat able to meet their mandate.

According to Gary Shaw, after he beat Holt, he had a mando due for his WBO belt. The WBC informed Team Bradley that he would be stripped of his WBC belt if he fought the WBO mando before the WBC mando.

It's not even like Tim Bradley is a big name now, let alone before he fought Campbell. Alexander was a nobody then, and Nate was a name. Can you really blame Tim for wanting to fight a bigger name to raise his status, even if it was less of a challenge?
