I also can see Mercer beating Vlad if that version of Mercer fought him. Mercer was washed up when he fought Wlad. It was Wlad fifth title defence so I would not say he was green. Mercer should have gotten the nod against Lennox. Mercer was just a tough MF.

 

Now, thats where i disagree, although Mercer did make it a fight at times, Lewis was pretty amazing that night, even mixing it up to the body, it was a very good Lewis fight, and it doesnt get talked about that much :think

Haha everytime I see that I say to myself "Ray you could have stopped punching
once he was out. Anyway yeah I meant prime vs prime Mercer would take
Wlads best shots and eventually ko him. I don't see Vitali hurting morrison early
like Lewis did. Yeah Vitali is a problem because of height maybe he decisions mercer
but Tommy could box smart and had good head mvement. And although Vitali
has 5 inches on him Morrison could catch Vitali out of position and finish him.

Hey, Tommy wasn't exactly trying to give Mercer some massages with those hayemakers he was trying to knock him the **** out only this time it was Mercer giving him the beating. Mercer beat Tommy fair and square.

Well if Morrison took a dive he sure as hell did some better acting than he did in Rocky 5 because that **** convinced me he was taking a savage beating.

Lewis was amazing? maybe you need to watch the fight again...he was overweight and never more beat up at the end of a fight
