Did trinidad Load his hand wraps??

    Fighters like trinidad are good for boxing. I rewatched the hopkins fight and could not ignore the amount of leather and clean punches that trinindad landed on hopkins but had no effect on him.

    REid had stated that trinidad would hurt him even when he would no land clean and he would block his punches. Vargas said that his arms hurt when he blocked his punches and would weaken his body.

    Its not like trininad did not land flush on bernard because he did but the punches just had no effect on him.

    Please be logical here and a fan of boxing and not a fanboy, i don't care if your rican, mexican, black or whatever. We are all human beings here and should debate with respect.

    I say he did manipulate his wraps. Some say he would wet them and then let them dry harder.

    Isn't Hopkins quite a bit bigger than the other Guys?

    he displayed no power against wright either. Wright himself said he was expecting trinidad to hit harder.

    It could be possible. He did get caught so who's to say he got away with it every other fight?

    He was way past it at that point. That fight was totally meaningless.

    He still did to Joppy what no one, at the time, ever did. His power was still there but Hopkins and Wright aren't exactly easy to hit with full power.

    Both Jones and Trinidad were completely past it that point, that fight was an exhibition at best. Don't forget that it was Trinidad's first fight at light heavyweight too. It was nothing but a payday for both fighters. Whoever took that fight seriously is as mentally and physically incapable as the drunken e-trolls that took Jones/Calzaghe seriously.

    Nazim said in an interview with the ring that trinidads illegal wraps were more to protect his hands, compared to margarito whose wraps were more like a weapon.
