The referee for Donkey vs Bermane ''B. Sick'' Stiverne hates Donkey too and also wants to see him take an L. Stiverne's ass hits the canvas at the 0:05 second mark, so the ref should reach 10 at no later than the 0:15 second mark, right? Wrong! He's only at the count of 7 at the 0:14 mark and it's not until the 0:22 second mark that he waves them back on to fight. I don't think many people can. They have so much of their own personal capital invested in the idea that Wilder is something that he's not that they don't have any option but to seize any explanation, however risible, to counter the evidence before them. Doctors call this Canelitis Denial syndrome and as yet there is sadly no cure.
Contrived controversy. Jack Reiss (spelling) handled the knockdown and the entire fight for that matter perfectly.
Disgusting how Fury was allowed to walk around and regain his composure. Boxing is always so corrupt.
-Out 3 years -28 stone -Coked up & depressed -5 fights in 5 years -2 exhibition fight's Cut to December 2018 Fury travels to the USA to fight its 'monster' champion & it's Wilder fan girls scratching around looking to salvage Wilder's standing following the bout.. Self explanatory Just embrace the fact that Wilder couldn't beat Fury on his home turf & was gifted a draw* Accept it! Wilder DIDN'T win! Fact! Cry me a river..
Fury won clear but can we not show respect to both guys for a great fight? Instead of posting this childish nonsense.
He did, anyone notice the Ref straight away turned to the guy who takes count and took his count on three from there,no delay whatsoever
Nobody is having it, well most of us arent. The ref isnt using a stopwatch and it is his 10 count not 10 seconds, im sure there is hardly anything between them but these stopwatch videos are a joke, especially the ones that seem to count to 10 seconds quicker than anybody elses stopwatches. But mostly people should feel free to claim he took longer than 10 seconds because that is not the rule anyway but dont say Tyson didnt beat the count, the ref is the one with his fingers up and he is the one shouting the count inches from Fury and Fury beat his count, the only count that matters.
Yep and plus if you look at Fury during the 12th round knockdown, he’s looking over at the ref within seconds and the ref knew he was clearing the cobwebs a bit before just jumping up.
As always the sufferer's families feel the impact of these conditions more than the patient. "It was crazy. I just didn't recognise my son one day. It's like all of his cognitive reasoning ability has been stripped away and replaced with nonsensical ramblings about contaminated tacos, long counts and exemplary judging. Oh what I wouldn't give for a conversation about politics, art or culture now... *sobs*"
Long count? Wouldn't want to buy time off you. Fury got up both times and hurt Wilder. In fact Wilder had the chance in the 12th to close but got caught. Scoring wise: Wilders two kd rounds equals four of Fury's rounds. Now did Wilder win three other rounds? I'd personally give him 1-2 rounds. If he gets 3 it is a draw. Fury probably deserved that in a fairly scored fight.
Id be careful with getting to upset with DW. This could all be him building a bigger controversy than there really is to start selling the rematch. Wouldn't be surprised if he's already spoken with Tyson about going this rout. These guys have to strike while the iron is hot and keep this fight in the publics minds. Don't be surprised if DWs call of a robbery get a little louder and more aggressive and don't be surprised when Tyson starts responding and the back and forth starts getting a bit nasty. This will be the dead give away that theyre building controversy for the rematch. Its smart and both fighters should roll with it.
