Not to kick a man when he's down. Fury has had some very good wins and some very good performances.
But it's hard to deny the last two years haven't been detrimental to boxing; avoiding Usyk, not fighting AJ, not fighting top contenders, the Chisora trilogy bout, the MMA crossover fight, the dishonesty ... all the while claiming to be the best of his era and the best heavyweight of all time.
To what extent do you think boxing karma was executed last night - in a wider sense - and administered by Usyk, the ultimate boxing pro?

Fury never faced elite boxer outside of aging Wlad. He lacks dedication and mentally he is not there. He tried to squeak by on pure talent but it is not enough at the elite level. There were signs all over - Usyk just exposed that.

He should have remained in shape after Chisora knowing he would fight Usyk.

But the Saudi 12 month delay he got out of shape...which is a terrible mistake and it cost him. The Francis debacle also cost him.

You can't burn the candle at both ends and keep getting away with it. Especially not against Usyk who TOTALY capitalized on Fury's discipline failings.

Story of Fury's career though. He legit has bipolar disorder and motivation to fight & train properly comes fleetingly for him.

Fury has been pulling the wool over some people’s eyes for too long. Because you say you’re the best in the business doesn’t make it so.

He’s behaved despicably during his reign so yeah, he got what was coming to him.

    ‘No man alive’ etc…

Fury overstayed his welcome. Two whole years wasted with his ridiculous antics.

I, for one, am glad the clown show is over.

To be honest I didn't have that much of a problem with Fury's reign, yeah he played the business game but pretty much all but a few boxers do it once they get to the top.

Most of the top boxers throughout history had Chisora 3 level fights. Last year was bad for him though. Inactivity and then an embarrassing showing against a MMA fighter.

Agree that most (all?) of the top guys had 'gimmie ' fights in their career. I think what made it worse for Fury is that he quite clearly had Usyk waiting in the wings as a legit challenge and seemed to prefer not to take it. That was always my main issue with him really ... that he kept saying was the best - and the best of all time - while simultaneously not engaging in the sort of fights that would prove it. I think he's a good fighter but, essentially, dined out on the Wilder and Klitschko wins for too long, without wanting to prove himself consistently at the top

    That makes two of us.

Should miss Canelita meet Benavidez , he will suffer the same fate (or worse) that Fury did vs Usyk.

I hope, but I doubt roidelo will ever have the intestinal fortitude to face Benavides.

"Not a man born of his mother can beat me. No man can beat me. There's been 160 Billion people born on this earth and not one of them could beat me"

"litte man usyk. midget. ill eat his heart. twice on sunday"

"You're fighting the greatest British heavyweight that's ever been,” Fury said to Usyk. “You've beat all the rest of them but you haven't met Tyson Fury yet, you sausage! Ugly little man. You know what's coming, you're getting smashed"

"Beating Usyk doesn’t do anything for me, who the flipping heck is he? Me giving Usyk a fight is like me not chucking him the bone, but chucking him the full dog’s home. “Everybody expects me to beat Usyk, a middleweight guy who is smaller than me," Fury said of his heavyweight rival."

Yeah I'd say some comeuppance has been served.

He lost a fight. Most do. I don’t see it any greater context than that.

Do you remember when that f*** fraud was trying to troll Usyk for his "high" shorts, when they weren't high at all?
    Well check this fraud :

Yeah they had, but they also was million time more active + they have such "off" fights on the back of good ones. Not Chisora to Ngannou type of fights.
