Botha was not top level competition. Tyson tried fouling out because he was losing in this fight also.

Both Rudduck bouts and his bout with Tucker were VERY one sided. He was never in any real danger of losing.

Again his own trainers call Tyson a front runner.

Who are these trainers? Teddy Atlas (the guy whom every fighter has complained against of being a lowsy trainer)? Or the Leeches who came for their paycheque after Kevin Rooney?

    Kevin Rooney disagrees.

    Atlas states the truth.

If you sit down and talk to Rooney he would agree with me much more than you regarding this topic.

Tucker won the first 4 rounds, that is a decent margin to overcome. Point is Tyson was challenged, Tyson responded and turned the fight around.

Not sure what this has to do with a weak pain threshold but he certainly did turn fights around when things werent going his way. He certainly did against Tillis, Ruddock and Botha.

These are your examples of him turning fights around when he was challenged.

Its funny because every fighter who has trained under Atlas calls him full of ****. We all know Atlas had an axe to grind with Tyson for refusing to leave Cus and Catskill and go with him.

Again Atlas and Rooneys opinion do not differ greatly regarding this topic. It's just Atlas tells it like it is while Rooney is much more reserved. One on one he agrees with Teddy.

Again you are conveniently changing the narrative off "Botha was not top level competition" when your statement "He never turned a fight around" has been answered.

Right Tucker who won the first 4 rounds of their fight and Ruddock winning the middle rounds where he landed loads of smashes to Tyson's face and he was never in any danger of loosing. Yeah right.

Ofcourse Teddy Atlas has to be believed. The guy who can't keep a single fighter to stick under him.

Not really. Rooney in an interview called Teddy Atlas full of ****. In all the interviews you can find online, Rooney never says anything negative about Tyson except for criticizing him for leaving him and joining Don King.

Do you have a clue what this thread is about? Tyson was screaming like a girl whenever his little cuts were tended to. I've never seen a fighter with such a reputation whimper with pain.

Screaming and grimmicing in pain is ok and natural. It shouldn't be held against him. This is the price you pay for participating in such a sport. What no one can complain about is that he couldn't take an ass whooping.

Tyson was the classic front runner, bully.......lots of dog in Mike. Losing he first tried to foul out then he quits mentally. No plan B. Not mentally tough.

He certainly didn't quit against Tillis, Tucker, Rudduck, Botha. That is a fact. He showed a Plan B in those fights and plenty of mental toughness. Certainly didn't foul out in these fights and he showed plenty of hearts in these fights along with in his losses to Douglas, Lewis and even Williams.

Show me other world champions screaming with pain whilst having a cut treated.
