Like I said Atlas doesn't like Tyson and despite some of Mikes shortcomings cause the amount of problems he had, doesn't give Atlas the right to put it all out there. Atlas has a lot of short comings hisself when it comes to working with fighters, he's nothing but a control freak and big mouth. And like the myth how only Douglas and Holyfield stood up to Tyson, that makes me laugh everytime because it's a bunch of BS that Atlas(a Tyson hater) and Ron Burgous(another Tyson hater) throw around to ruin Tyson as a fighter.

I watched Tyson train for a good part of the second Holyfield fight here in Deerfield Florida. He was prepared and ready to go physically. He believed he was going to do a number on Holyfield in the second fight.
What you dont know about a fighter is what came out in the fight, and that was, at that point in Tyson's career, he was no longer capable or willing to deal with adversity or a tough fight, and when he was cut over both eyes early in the fight, and fighting at what he felt was an unfair disadvantage, he looked for a way out.
I dont know that he snapped, Tyson was notorious for chewing on his gloves in sparring. He knew what he was doing, and he was looking for a way to get out of the fight and thats why he bit him again after Lane let him continue the first time because he wanted out.

I beleive Tyson simply didnt have the bottle. He lost the fighting guts in prison. He was given 4 easy fights and then thought Holyfield would simply fall over too. Holyfield proved him (and everyone else wrong). Tyson got a rude awakening and suddenly realised he wasnt what he once was. He simply didnt have the bottle.

Compare that to Ruddock 2, Tyson still came to fight.

If Evander had beaten Tyson pre prison, i believe Tyson would have done everything to beat him in a rematch and would have won (pre prison). You can see he physically changed and got himself into shape for the rematch so he took Holyfield seriously, but the guts were gone

    Post prison, different story.
