What do you guys think, did Mike try to find his way out in his second fight against Holyfield? I always thought he was just pissed off, but a lot of people claim he quit.

He was pissed off and I believe he also quit. Biting is losing control but with that Mills Lane gave him a chance to continue. He got even from the headbutt, and then some Holyfield's ear was laying on the canvas yet Evander was willing to keep fighting.
Lane told him if he does it again he's gone. Tyson bit him again. He didn't want to fight because I believe he knew he couldn't win.

I think he was just so pissed off that he didnt give a **** about winning or losing, he just wanted to get back at Evander.

I don't think he quit too. He was frustated and mad because he felt Holyfield got an unfair advantage when he cut his eye with the headbutt.
Since from his point of view Holyfield didn't follow the rules, he thought he would do the same too in his own (extreme) manner.
Actually, he tried to bite Holyfield a third time before the round ended.

He wanted out. On that night he was a mental midget.

Don't know. Hard to say. Mike Tyson is probably clinically insane. He is not a rational person.

    No.

The way Tysons game worked if he was losing after a few rounds the fight was pretty much over. Tyson was not in this situation often but when he was the fight was over. Now what he did was immature but I think he was expressing his frustration over what he already knew to be a loss. He'd already lost to Holyfield and probably didn't want to go through a second full fight with the man.

In olden times these sort of violent outbursts were much more common. Theres a lot of guys in the 10s and 20s who were getting chronically DQd because they couldn't control themselves. Society made more of this incident because they weren't used to it. In the later 20th century people just going AWOL in the ring didn't happen anymore.

Couldn't control. Holyfield was headbutting like crazy and he snapped.
