Did Tyson use platform shoes to boost his chin??

Last night i was at teh local WMC having some boxing banter for a canny few hours with my buddies, over more then a few pints on ice cold fosters. Soon, We started to chat about Heavyweight's chins in a all time great sense. One m8 cleverly pointed out Tyson wore 2" rubber platforms on his fighting shoes. This cos Tyson is only 5'10, But with his platform shoes on he is raised to 5'11[FONT=&quot]¾ - v.nearly 6'0 when in a fight! He then did tell us how thick rubber platforms on shoes act as a bloody huge shock absorber. So he said they boost Tyson's chin toughness by lots, cos when he is punched, loads of teh force is absorbed by his 2" rubber platforms. Is this cheating?? Forget Tyson's big neck, big traps And big legs, teh real source of his chin toughness is his shoes. We then all decided Tyson has a overrated chin, what should not be in teh same sentances as Lewis's or Foreman's Iron chins. Who designed Tyson's chin protecting fight shoes? Did Cus or King order them to protect a future champ??[/FONT]

But Tyson's padded heels on his boots there, look thicker than his padded heels when he was younger imo.

 

Tyson was overcompensating for his growing chin problems, like when a rich ageing businessman buys bigger sports cars, teh more his dick has shrivelled. :rofl:rofl
