Do you think GSP will stay at WW for another challenge? He looked really big this time around, much bigger than Shields. He'd be a small MW, but perhaps it's taking too much of a toll to stay at WW.

Semantic. Greg is the one that encouraged GSP to employ a safety first style that simply wins fights. The fact he urges other fighters to be aggressive is a completely moot point

No it was not. That was the UFC building these fights as credible. Koscheck II really? Who was begging to see that nonsense again? Taking into account both men's negative styles and the first fight what exactly was Koscheck going to do differently from the first?

Dan Hardy? Seriously bad joke. Hardy is popular with UFC frat boys. That's pretty much where it ends.

As for the Shields match up it was a poor one from the outset. The last solid match up was vs Thiago Alves. Alves was a LIVE underdog with his fight ending power and striking. GSP went on to own and control him on the mat.
Domination is what we saw GSP do to Serra in their second fight. Or when he destroyed Hughes in their second bout. Or Frank Trigg. Not this jab fest nonsense we see lately.

Lets stop being stupid now, GSP will be favourite vs any WW but Diaz is an elite fighter that no-one including GSP will beat easily.

I give Diaz a real good shot vs GSP, personally.

:lol::lol: diaz could win a round and could pull out an upset against gsp. I mean he has a better stand up than shields and has great bjj. He could fight gsp standing or on the ground.

**** gsp nick would kill gsp anybody who says nick hasnt got a chance is crazy look at what jake did to gsp imagine if that was nick punching gsp? and nick diaz is the worse stylistic match for gsp, because if gsp takes nick down then gsp will just get submitted and people who think gsp's bjj is better or even close to nick's is an idiot because gsp only trained with roger gracie for 3 weeks and hasnt done bjj as much as nick has.

I don't know if nick can submit gsp but he has a chance to win the fight. He's got pretty good stand up and can defend himself on the ground.

You guys need to stop. First Shogun will beat Bones, as ridiculous as that sounded I didnt go "I told you so" right after that destruction.

Then you started a thread that Shields can beat GSP, I said ok maybe you were being sarcastic. No fan of MMA would give Shields a chance against GSP in any round. It was so bad, GSP fought with one eye and won all the rounds.

Now I'll ask you seriously, do you really think that Diaz can win a round off GSP?

hell yeah diaz got a pretty good stand up and is better on the ground. He has a long reach, has power and a pretty good chin to go along with it. He has all the tools to beat gsp.

If that GSP, who's concerned about eye poking, shows up against Diaz, he is toast. GSP is not Jon Jones, Chimba. Jones is mentally as strong as they come and confident. This is where GSP lacks and it shows; this is the type of fighter Diaz feasts off of. There would nothing for Diaz to be concerned about standing up and his cardio is great

Diaz could not only win a round against GSP but can certainly spark him out. If Serra did it, it can be done again, I assure you.

All comments about Diaz are true, but saying GSP would get ktfo/killed is ******ed, talking like Ai-edy2007 I could say: anyone who thinks Diaz will surely knock out GSP is an idiot. Daley is a brawler with limited cardio, Nick fought an incredible fight, but it wasn't against the smartest fighter on the planet.

Obviously I don't think Georges would be the one making the fight exciting but I see no way Diaz would really dominate him, it could be a good fight if Diaz keeps high pressure on Georges, which is one of Nick's strong assets, something that ALL of GSP's last opponents failed at, but I just feel GSP is plain stronger than Nick overall. It's still a pretty intriguing fight though.

Mostly, I want Diaz to insult/laugh/ridicule Georges.... Bring the beast back out of him!!

I so miss the days where GSP violently elbowed or body slammed people in the ground, or just ****ing at least charged in for the finish after a great knockdown. I hate both Diaz's so I hope Nick will be the one really pissing Georges off so that GSP wants to ****ing tear his head off. Hell, even if he wins a decision......

I WANT TO AT LEAST SEE HIM TRY TO WIN THE FIGHT!!!! :|
