So he beat nobody, just like lower tier fighters from Vitaly's resume, because that's what Ortiz is.
And higher tier fighters from Vitaly's resume defeated young Wladimir Klitschko, Jameel Mcline, old Mike Tyson, WBO champ prime Liakovitch, old Foreman, prime Maskaev and many more.

Yes, due to injuries. He eventually ended up taking 3+ years out of the ring during this first "retirement". If you think that was because he felt like he could not defeat Hasim Rahman, who had lost 5 fights and really was on the slide big time, you must be on some good stuff.

Well, Vitali Klitschko barely lost rounds in his career. What else was he supposed to do, with the bunch he had to work with?

Lennox Lewis pulled out of a rematch for december 6,2003. Stated he would not fight for the remainder of 2003. No problem. Klitschko fought Kirk Johnson december 6, 2003 and he defeated him inside 2 rounds. Lennox announced retirement a couple of months later. Vitali fought and defeated Corrie Sanders. The only thing Vitali wanted was to rematch Lennox. Mama said no. No it was.

Vitali’s resume is very strange for a heavyweight champion to be honest. The best fighter he faced he was beating until the fight got stopped by a cut, Byrd was stopped due to injury, both fights would of been his best wins, but they were losses.

The reason Vitali is held in such high regard is his obvious ability as a fighter.

Vitali is the only fighter of any weight class of any time that I know of that, retired at 41 and only losing single digit rounds. Vitali lost 9 rounds during his whole career a record that Joshua, Wilder, Fury and Ruiz can never achieve now, because they have already lost more during their career so far.

    I find that very impressive.
