Well that tells you all you need to know about Vitali title defenses.

Thanks for bring up Sugar Nikolai. I almost forgot, he never was knocked down. Since he held a title like Vitali and was never knocked down, do you have him in you all time great list in chin?

Vitali is not in it, that's for sure.

the extra weight puts extra stress on muscles only designed to cope with a frame of about 6 feet. the rotator cuff, amongst many other muscles, is a small thing.

nutrition and living standards are unfortunately outstripping evolution, making us weaker.

but I agree that vitali would only really box on if he was close to fully recovered, he ought to know being a PHD sports scientist (or is that his bro)

and yep vitalis comp went from generally whyte to not too bad, but never got good. if fat sam and retired failure sanders are your benchmarks, your comp was never really good.

Paragraph one: that's a non comment. If you can't accept those HW's are highly dangerous, then your just not being rational.

Paragraph two: yes, the HW's I mentioned above, excepting Mavrovic, are all top 20 HW chins. Not really very disputable, all have well proven records of top flight chins. Its extremely rare to never get knocked down in the heavys, if you face a good portion of your era's best. Valuev achieved that, even Mercer couldn't do that (and I suspect he'd make your list, as he would mine).

Paragraph three: your mistake, nothing I can do about it. I suspect if you made a list of top 10 HW chins, it would be laughable. I'll try to make one and make a thread on it in a few days when I have more time, feel free to chime in.

I didn't say anything about Wilder, did I?

This thread is about Vitali Klitschko.

You didn't need to mention his name. Your insinuation was that because Vitali stopped 41 of his 45 opponents, it somehow disproves my statement of his punching power not what it is made out to be.

Vitali had good power. Nobody with any kind of knowledge would claim different.

His knockout record proves it as well.

No one is denying he had punching power, but its not top 10 like his fans claims. Neither was his chin.

Why? Because he got KOd with a spinning kick to the jaw when he was 20 at tops?

Because he never proved his chin against legitimate opponents besides Lennox Lewis and Corrie Sanders who both hurt him.

Don't bring up fat midgets Sam Peter and Chris Arreola. None of whom properly connected on Vitali's.

I told every one that will listen a year ago when many were ranking Chavez Jr's chin top 10 that his Chin wasn't what it was made out to be. Once Chavez Jr fought a man his own size that wasn't even considered big puncher, he got stopped. The same applies to Vitali.

Vitali made a career fighting men he towered over. Due to his length, even when he fought guys that may be considered punchers, the never got the chance to touch it due to the length disparity. Lewis and Sanders at 6'5 and 6'4 respectively were able to get to it and hurt him

Two more fights the Level of the one he had against Lewis and we won't be having this conversation about Vitali's chin being anywhere in the top 10 list.

I'm wondering, Floyd Mayweather Jr has never been knocked down/out in 48 fights and have fought punchers all the way from 130 to 154, do you have his chin top 10 all time?:think

why do the kli****s believe that writing absolute statements repeatedly will get them out of arguments like this.

when no absolute is being discussed.
