Just wondering, he tells it as though he was in agony with a torn shoulder muscle or whatever, yet at the post fight presser he was clapping away, shaking hands and generally swinging his arms about with no problems at all.

For a professional athlete, if he had even possible damage to his arm, wouldnt it have been put straight into a sling in the dressing room until it could be scanned or whatever, to avoid extra damage from moving it freely?

Did he really injure it, or was it made up as an explaination for why he had a little difficulty with Chis and didnt get his KO?

It's slightly annoying as he's now getting referred to as "one armed vitali" even the ring were dismissing Chisora's small success based on the "injury" and giving props to Vitali for soldiering through.

Agree with Earl here, the whole "one handed" craic is shameful.

What has he said about it ?

I said to my mate halfway through the fight that he wasn't throwing his left anywhere near as much as he would normally. I am no boxing guru so I can't have been the only one who noticed this, I just assumed that he wouldn't mention it cos he is such a gent and he gave haye all sorts of stick for the disgraceful toe incident.

You have a good point there, Del Boy is getting some of his credit taken away from him by people making these excuses for Vitali. Its not like Vitali to make excuses for his performances usually though, so im sure he has had an injury of some kind, regardless of how bad it is.

Chisora busted him on the inside, all the body shots helped cause Vitali's injury....

Exactly. The commentators were asking where's the jab. Doesn't take anything away from Del Boy, he fought like a lion.

To be honest, it's a bit poor form from Vitali's camp to put out this kind of stuff after the event whether true or not.
