If they had counted the knock down Ward should have lost. I also saw some shots the Uzbek land but didn't get credit for. With head gear on you would think that was Andre Dirrel running around.
Are the rules different in the amateurs? Ward got hit in the first round and the ropes kept him in the ring. There was no slip in this instance. Is that a knockdown or not?
Haydarov dropped him and whooped his ass, corrupt judges didn't count his landed punches. Ward got a gift
This content is protected sure it makes you feel better to say ward should have started at lhw....so that duck your boy made feels a little better..... ward spent like 9 years at super middle....its tough to drain yourself for 9 years...its not draining.....hes just older now and its a bit tougher to make
I think that's what boxing is.. winning 4-3 in goals.. In pro boxing.. the shadow part is viewed.. not just the punches and power.. His boxing was ok..
In a real "boxing" match.. it's the amount of jabs thrown and landed.. the amount of punches thrown and landed.. %.. power.. the amount of punches missed.. Really that's why you have knockdowns.. and refs ruling them though.. sometimes it wasn't a knockdown.. but you gotta rule it that way..
Good, spirited fight. I've no idea how to score amateur bouts....I think the knockdowns in the 1st and 3rd were legit....Ward ran like a Cuban all fight. Who did he think he was fighting-George Foreman? Ward was seriously handicapped because he was wearing headgear, thus his main weapon...headbutting...was impossible.
