Suppose you were watching a game of American football, and the ref suddenly decides that incomplete passes will count for yardage gains when a certain quarterback throws them. Would that be okay just because the ref allowed it? The analogy above may seem absurd, but ridiculously bias referring, that is just as bad, has happened in all 3 super six first round fights.
Kesslers downfall is that he can't fight inside. He looked for the ref to break them, and held everytime Ward got inside to bang the body.
Where are all the people who complained about Froch punching behind the head? Shouldn't you be complaining about Ward too?
None of the butts were intentional. You clowns are the worst lol... The very first butt was caused by Kessler. Ward is trying to get inside, and not let Kessler force him backwards. Claiming that any of the butts in this fight were intentional discredits you as a poster. From round 1 to the end, Ward was all over Kessler, and Kessler's fans are shocked.
Good luck on that one. The truth is people will do their best to come off as unbiased, but they don't give a **** if it's their guy getting away with it as opposed to their fighter being on the receiving end of it.
Pavlik fans, worry about your hero. You Pavlik fans speaking on the super 6 are hypocrites lol... Why, because you're fake ass posters in my book. Every last one of you lol.
Nonsense. Ward used every move in the boxing book. Headbutts happen in a fight. Both men held at times. In between they did plenty of punching - Ward was simply much more effective in dominating the Dane.
Not just NO, hell NO. And I was rooting for Kessler to win this thing. Ward completely outclassed him. Some may have seen this coming, but I sure didn't. I thought Kessler was gonna manhandle him and knock him out.
I was in this exact same boat. I was rooting for Kessler, I thought he would lose a couple of early rounds but go one to stop Ward in the middle rounds. That being said, Ward has won me over as a fan if he fights aggresively like he did last night and for people to try and take away any of the glory that he deserves for last nights win are just pathetic. One of the reasons for all the bitching is that we rarely see a world class fighter like Kessler look so absolutely inept at a certain aspect of fighting, and Kessler looked inept with his infighting, both offensively and defensively. If Kessler were even just average at infighting, he would have stood a chance at winning. But he looked completely ameteurish last night. This was very similar to the Calzaghe fight, Kessler just doesn't have a plan B, and also can't seem to counter with the other fighter in the pocket. Kessler is only successful if he is initiating exchanges, and from the exact range that he wants. Otherwise he is out of his element.
