Arguably, the number 1 and 2 in the division, fight a highly competitive, top tier skill level fight with one of them inevitably losing, and that loser becomes automatically overrated? What on earth is going on with some of the 'fans' in this sport? There is another thread on this fight where there are a number of posters accusing Gvozdyk of quitting. How about we all just appreciate these top level athletes for the entertaining, modern day gladiators that they are, putting every thing on the line for our enjoyment. Gvozdyk gave it his all but, ultimately was up against the boxing equivalent of the Terminator. He boxed well, particularly in the first third of the fight and tagged Beterbiev with some decent shots which had little to no effect. I should imagine that's a pretty demorilizing experience in its self but he hung on in there for as long as he was able. Bivol may be able to outbox Beterbiev but, for the whole 12 rounds, that's a big ask. Joe Smith Jnr. Would get Callum Johnson'd and the likes of Buatsi and Yarde are light years away from competing with a monster like Beterbiev.
Nah, hes the second best at 175 blatantly, a nice dose of everything, including heart, as you say he was just against the terminator
Yep, got it closer second time watching mate lol..he didn't really do anything wrong did he Gvozdyk, just Beterbiev is an animal
Nope. He was rated accordingly. He lost to the best LHW in the world. Hes still the 2nd best in the division.
