Take it up with Mike Tyson, George Foreman and Tyson Fury.

All-time greats think he is an all-time great.

They know. And they don't just let anyone in the "club." Sometimes it takes one to know one.

I don't have to take it up with anyone. He is not an ATG for being beaten soundly 3 times and for having a crap resume.

But lets see how the rest of his career pans out. That'll provide a clearer picture of what his status will be.

He hasn't been soundly beaten three times ... and he's listed among the top 10 all-time in any number of categories in heavyweight title history surrounded by other ATGs on those lists.

The stats back him up. The other ATGs believe he is.

    Deal with it.

Even after an all-time classic Saturday, some of you guys are in utter denial.

They'll be talking in glowing terms about that title fight a 100 years from now.

Why would he be considered an ATG? Depending on how he finishes off his career, he may finish a Hall of Famer, and for a fighter with his skillset, thats a big accomplishment on its own.

    ATG power.

Not much of anything else without the accomplishments.

    You talking about this?

Mike was just feeling the hype vibe and waxing poetic. I'm sure if you revisited the question a few months down the road, with a calmer head and some distance, he'd walk back Wilder 'reaching ATG status' for losing a decently entertaining fight.

    "Decently entertaining." (LOL)

Eddie Hearn - who isn't exactly a fan of either - called Fury-Wilder III the Fight of the Year yesterday.

Time for you guys to catch up.

Wilder's in the top five ALL-TIME for most successful heavyweight title defenses, the top five All-Time for number of consecutive heavyweight title fights ... the top 10 All-Time for number of heavyweight title challengers faced, the top 10 All-Time for scoring the most wins in heavyweight title fights, the Top 10 All-Time in the number of KOs scored in heavyweight title fights ... Wilder and Fury even own the all-time highest grossing live gate in heavyweight championship history.

Wilder is an all-time great. Fury is an all-time great.

All-time great champs say they are both all-time greats. Foreman said we can stop talking about him (Foreman) and Ali and Jack Johnson because Wilder and Fury have taken their rightful places in the present.

You've been watching greatness all these years and you couldn't see it. Too busy complaining that he doesn't shake hands afterward or joking about his suits being heavy and all the other nonsense that has nothing to do with what happens when the bell rings.

    Hate blinds. Open your eyes.

Why are you people so threatened by the idea of someone liking but not loving that fight? Pretty weird tbh.

You're utterly delusional when it comes to Wilder, he hasn't beaten anybody of note except a Cuban dinosaur and even that could be excused had he shown his mettle against a top opponent but all he did was lose twice and whine about it while making stupid excuses , then got KTFOed for good this time around.

He'll get in the HOF, but he's not an ATG.

What's truly weird is the odd collection of people on this board who can't enjoy or recognize an historic world heavyweight title fight even after they've seen it.

You watch it, then deny what you've seen. And all-time greats and rival promoters confirm it was great ... and some of you still can't admit it.

You just assume they'll change their minds later.

What's the point of being a boxing fan if you watch a historic, thrilling event ... nearly two years in the making ... that lived up to and exceeded expectations ... and instead of acknowleding it you'd rather argue about petty nonsense?

The RIVAL PROMOTER who lost the Fury-Joshua unification and the tens of millions he'd have made ... because an arbitrator forced Fury to take on Wilder again ... called Wilder-Fury III the FIGHT OF THE YEAR yesterday.

I used to think you guys were just going to be the last to cross the finish line.

Now I doubt some of you will ever get there.

Oh well. Your loss, I guess.

I've been a wilder fan since day one, I believe yes it is so to answer the question.

Great argument , however that's expected from a Wilder stan, can't undent a dented head .
