Did Williams/Martinez Derail a Pavlik/Williams Fight?

    So you think he planned to lose millions due to inactivity and spend thousands on doctors and hospital bills?

    He said he wanted the winner in the spring. Now it looks like Goosen isn't going to let Pav near his boy.

    Yea Pavlik said he nearly die but goodload IT'S A MIRICLE!!!!!! HE'S GOING TO FIGHT IN DEC AFTER ALL!! Damn strange it was announce he was going to fight in dec after Williams vs Martinez was signed.

    Me and walk never say Williams will ko fighters left and right like nothing (you do that all the time with Pavlik). You started this thread about Goosen won't put Williams in the ring with Pavlik cause of last night and the 50/50 split. Just stop with that **** booradley for real. Who post poned the fight twice in a row? Pavlik? And in all honesty, Williams should get 50/50 split he has been way way way too active then Pavlik has from 2008 to 2009. Oh and did i forgot to mention You say Pavlik would ko Martinez? lol. The last time Pavlik face a slick fighter, he got his butt whipped but wait i forgot he got 115 temperture. So what will be your excuse if Martinez easily beat Pavlik?

    Im sure Pavlik isnt as hesitant after last night and Williams isnt as anxiuos so it wont be happening

    I don't care what PW does next. Sergio Martinez should get a shot at Pavlik. He'd be the tougher challenge and he's earned it.

    I agree Sergio is the tougher challenge (styles make fights.) However, I think the most probable path forward is Martinez/Williams II at 154, and Pavlik/Sturm in a unification fight.

    no... this fight is still fine as long as pavlik is on the shitty end of the stick as far as negotiations go.... you already know that goosen will try to jerk team pavlik

    PW's people are done with Pavlik, and Pavlik doesn't need Williams either. Sturm, Martinez, Bute are better options for Pavlik.

    Probably not enough money in it to make it happen, but DAMN, that would make a nice card, and put Ornales/David Lopez in the opener.
