Did Wlad take years off AJ or was he always at this level?

Did Nichols and Sconiers take years off Wilder? Because he looked mediocre against Washington, Molina, Szpilka and Duhaupas.

You're right about the Jennings fight. Jennings who is no better than a Calvin Brock that Klitschko put away with ease at the start of his prime run. He did put in a tremendous fight vs Joshua tho. Compare and contrast with Louis vs Marciano or Holmes vs Tyson for shot champion vs new champion/successor. WK battered Joshua for a number of rounds.

He did well for a fighter you feel was shot as if you include the Jennings fight and 5 others before (6 in total) he fought and beat 5 undefeated HWs with Povetkin and Pulev included in that list and with a total combined record of 150 - 4 - 3

Wlad the fighter does not throw caution to the wind. If Wlad could have won that fight, he would have. Wlad retired after that fight for a simple reason: he was shot.

I believe WK was a shadow of his former self against Jennings, Fury and Joshua.

The fact WK at his age and an 18 month lay off was that close to winning and gave AJ that many problems speaks volumes in my opinion.

I am not hating on AJ, I don't think Fury can go over the top about his win either although I believe it was a much better win for a few reasons.. but TF Vs WK wasn't anywhere near as entertaining as AJ Vs WK.

Getting shot happens from one fight to the next. It does not matter what happened 5 or even 1 fight before.

I saw the fight and Wlad didn't fight like he was shot to ****. He looked a lot less stiff than he typically does, even against lesser opponents than Joshua.

That being said, 41 is 41, and Wlad has had a long ass career.

The argument for Joshua being green is as strong as the one for Wlad being shot to ****.

It won’t be good for his health, but I am sure the fans would pay a lot to see him walked down and executed again by AJ, or any other half decent heavyweight.

No, styles make fights. Scott is a runner it's hard to look against him. He still won every round. Wlad was losing rounds at least 4. As for Allen. Allen has one of the best chins in boxing period. Ortiz didn't look bad, he just couldn't get him out of there fast enough. Boxing wise he dominated him easily.

Lol Wilder dominated Stiverne far more impressively in the first fight than Joshua did Parker. Joshua looked **** against Parker. Wilder boxer Stiverne's head off. Hahahaha did you just say Ortiz is a level below Parker? Hahaha. Ortiz was a tougher fight for Wilder than Joshua. Why do you think Hearn is hiding Joshua?

How do you think Stiverne I would do against Joshua or even Parker for that matter?

Stiverne 1? Big possibility he drops Joshua with that pistol like right hand counter he possessed. Parker would have beat him on points but wouldn't have looked impressive. Probably a 7-5, 8-4 type win.

Wlad was AJs Corrie Saunders. He is terrified of getting caught like that again. He's now sticking with a more boring jab style to play it safe
