Did Wlad take years off AJ or was he always at this level?

Byrd was a slow footed / flat footed fighter even back then too clown. He literally lay on the ropes against Vitali and got hit clean about once or twice in the 9 rounds. He wasn't a mover like Parker was , or hit as hard as Parker did.
Joshua would have ran through any version of Byrd in the exact same manner as Ibeauchi.
Nice post too btw. Im sure everybody talks like that down in flea bottom :risas3:

No complaints from Byrd and he got the guy out of there unlike Joshua. Why doesn't the Dildo fool post up Wlad vs prime Chagaev or other bouts? He's a clown. This is a buffoon who rates Golota above Vitali. Byrd who was supposedly shot in his tiny mind in 06 but was coming off a draw vs Golota and wins vs prime McCline and Williamson. He is a fool and a hypocrite. I've scraped better than him off my shoe.

He beat both pretty easily with out getting hit, so I don't know where you are coming from.

Watch Joshua - Parker then watch Klitschko - Pulev (last big good win for him) and see how ugly Wlad's style is in comparison. AJ will be better than Wlad, his feet are much better and he's better on inside (no ugly holding tactics).

He wasn't going to get any younger bro, but it was eerily apparent that little Kaya and the Hayden situation was just as much of a factor going in to both the Jennings fight and the Fury bout even moreso knowing now, just how critical the Hayden situation was.

With the time off, and the resolution of Hayden's infanticidal ideations, we saw a far closer version of Wlad to the Pulev fight than with the Jennings fight and the Fury waltzing.

Though, I will concede, that when giving prefight instructions, Pops Jenkins was instrumental in his review of the rules to the referee about clinching and how it's illegal when initiated by only one fighter

As I've been saying for the last 3 1/2 years, he's always been at this level.:deal: Mixed in with the fear factor of being KO'd.

I knew AJ was overrated but I thought he was better than what he was against Parker. Parker is garbage.

My main complaint has been for years, aside from the glass jawed argument, is that his skillset is rudimentary, he's a basic one two artist, with a decent uppercut and a decent combination puncher if the opponent just stands there, but give him a little lateral movement and a defensively talented fighter, and he'll look thoroughly average. Well.

Against Takam and Parker he definitely did look stiff and basic. I will say he's gotten a lot better at guarding the left hook since Whyte almost knocked him out.
