I wonder if sponsors will start dropping him. Definitely not markerable as the the 'Mr. Nice Guy' he used to be after his street-fighting coming out last Sat.

it was a sloppy fight. povetkin was just as guilty. wlad didnt slap anyone in the face at the weigh in, nor spat water in anyone's face....he didnt even hit anyone with a a glass bottle.

"Street fighting" involves doing violent things not preventing violent things, bitchily. No one ever worries someone is going to get into a street brawl and be hugged to death. Let's get one thing straight. There was nothing street about Wlad's fight. That was an anti-street fight. That isn't even a street fight in a German musical.

it depends if you buy into his nice guy image. I personally was never duped into doing so, by whoever runs his PR company.

nope i wouldnt think so..its not as if he was biting any body or doing anything stupid out of the ring...it was a boxing match and he adapted a rough stratagy as his opponent was trying to do the same thing...

Good point, Wlad is already endorsing Stalone's musical, you think Stallone might drop him as a sponsor after Sat's right? :deal

He always fought like this. The sponsors wouldn't exist if they needed the Povetkin fight to figure out his fighting style.

He was hugging Povetkin the whole time, how is that tarnishing your 'nice guy' image?

Or maybe Alexander accuses Wlad of séxual herrasment... that would be bad for his image :yep

Of course not. It's not like he was head butting him or biting him he was just hugging him excessively. We've seen much dirtier fighters.

Trying to call what Wlad did "street fighting" is laughable.

;)Yes, what's even worse is he messed up Povetlins hair a lot and the Ref didn't even deduct a point for it. ;)

i couldnt believe how little povetkin did to discourage it. dude was at ball level half the fight on a large guy who was leaning on his neck. throw a punch ffs. if it happens to hit wlad in his basket then oh well what do you want from me.
