Wlad has Povetkin next, then perhaps Valuev.

Vitali has the flexibility to fight Haye first.

I think what Metal Man said is exactly what I think as well.

I also think that Vitali is coming to the end of his career and wants a big fight.

Wlad has several more years and IMO there will be another challenger that will catch the boxing public's eye.

This is stupid, Haye doesn't deserve a shot with either guy yet... Monte Barrett and a few decent wins at Cruiser do not equal heavyweight title shot...

The Vitali angle works better anyhow, he doesn't have his hands full. Wlad has Povetkin, then wants a uni against Valuev or Chageav in his sites.. David Haye honestly doesn't fit into that mix.

It makes more sense for VK to fight Haye anyhow.

Haye wanted Wlad for his chin.. we all know that.

It makes more sense for the Klitchskos. Definately not more sense for Haye. Yeah, Haye wanted Wladimir for his chin, and that's why that fight made more sense for the fans. Wladimir vs. Haye was a far more potentially compelling matchup.

Both have mandatories, Wlad has fought mos recently. Thus, Vitali is the logical choice here, if Haye is being honest when he says he wants either Klitschko.

Vitali Klitchsko has actually come out and said he's going after Haye almost strictly because of Haye's attempts at luring Wladimir into the ring.

"It is difficult to describe my feelings at the moment. There is David Haye on the photo laughing with the head of my brother. I came to David of course and said that it was too blatant and that he overstepped the mark. But, as a response, I got the words that he would beat my brother and then me. I will reply for my brother. He must pay for this photo. I seldom feel inclined to fight but, this time, I will enter the ring with a cold heart. You know lots of people said that they would knock my brother and me out. But it is well known what happened to them, the same would happen with Haye." - Vitali Klitchsko

No, he was a late sub for Povetkin.

Didn't you see I already responded to this? The deal for Vitali/David was made AFTER Wladimir/Hasim.

Wladimir will never fight a speedy, explosive puncher with decent skills. I'd favor him in the Haye matchup if he actually took it himself but that will never happen.

The guy only fights slow plodders (Peter, Austin, Thompson, Rahman) or small guys that can't mount any offense (Byrd, Brock, Ibragimov). He is so carefully matched. They are making damn sure he never takes a decent shot on the chin again or actually "fights" someone for a change.

He'll fight either Arreola, Toney, or Holyfield (IF he gets past Valuev) next. Wait and see. Vitali should be taking care of Gomez; Wlad is free of his obligation to Povetkin until next Fall. There is no excuse, but it don't matter to Haye either way.

Possibly true, although only one of them is durable enough to withstand the incoming fire - and we all know who that is, and why this is all happening.

The Klitschkos are the CHAMPS... Haye hasn't do sh*t yet as an HW.
