Having watched the ring interview post AJ vs Molina from WK and AJ I'm convinced Wlad purposely took a loss to elevate AJ as the new "man in the division" I'd be interested to hear any views on this

The men in suits wanted their very first bodybuilder champion, who came straight from the Olympia. Anthony ticked all the right boxes, with that gold medal he stole from the other competitors.

Wlad's inability to finish AJ in round 6

Missing telegraphed leaping left hooks which AJ easily dodged

and failing to try and clinch/wrestle AJ over

Is why Wlad is an overrated dosser

Fury is a better ATG than Wlad.

AJ got his second wind like a young champ should do and finished the old man off.

He definitely made more than one dive at AJ's privates during those steamy sauna ''mentoring'' sessions up in the secluded Austrian training facility.

Why would he do that? He's a very wealthy guy, why take a dive?

If you think Wlad took a dive then you need to log off and take a running jump off of your nearest multi-storey car park

Wlad is definitely not the type of bloke to 'take a dive'.

No he did not take a dive. He was unable to pull the trigger to put Joshua away for four rounds, is what the problem was. Whether that was up to his being old or his brother's advice not to blow his wad, is debatable.

There was another fundamental problem Wlad had in that fight. He was no longer fighting off the jab or throwing straight shots. He was pawing with the jab to measure distance and it was ineffective as a result. Frankly between him and Vitali, they should have seen the left hook was a dead punch against Joshua, who slipped it every time. It was especially useless without a strong jab, because Wlad couldn't even hook off the jab with that weak push of a jab.

Finally, I think that the fight was maybe stopped a little early. Sure Wlad had just taken a huge shot, but if you look at the replay he was covering up and moving. They could have let it run another ten seconds imho. Not a terrible stoppage, but it could have been better.
