    Yeah, that's a fair point.
    It looks like he has either been taught a style that is wrong for his skillset from the start or his boxing IQ is just that low/he's almost uncoachable.
    You can't tell me that a decent trainer wouldn't have been able to get a lot more out of a young guy with his combination of size and speed.

    Virgil Hunter couldn't teach Yoka much but Michael ''The Bounty'' Hunter taught Bakole all about CW Level and Bakole, as I've been saying for a long time, is a danger man with really heavy hands. He's president of the who needs him club and, prior to this win if not still. he's been high risk low reward and I thought it was a dumb idea for them to not only throw Yoka in with him but for any handlers of upcoming prospect to do the same because he's a huge, very heavy handed brute of a man with a good chin and decent skills.

    This fight was proof that fixed fights don't just happen in Vegas or Texas...or the UK or Germany or anywhere else for that matter.

    Bakole has size, power and good handspeed. His biggest problem is that he's hittable and I kinda question his gas tank. He also has a good jab, but when his main focus if the jab he just jabs. Even when he does that he can still be drawn into a brawl (see the fight vs Kuzmin). Anyway, it makes Hunter's win against a 20 pound lighter version of Bakole look even better.

    Kuzmin gave him a very hard fight for sure but a lot of HWS would fold under the weight of Bakole's fists if they stand in front of him. As I keep saying, he's a huge bear of a man and very heavy handed.

    It does. Hunter dropped Kuzmin too which Bakole couldn't

    People are really sleeping on Huter's power at HW, he has hurt and/or dropped almost everyone he has faced at HW. He's clearly a bigger puncher than he used to be at CW.

    I've been telling people that he can crack for years but they never listen to me even though I've literally never been wrong in my entire life

    I told them that the Hunter fight finished Povetkin

    Povetkin was already well past his best by then but he was shot to pieces after the punishment he took in that fight

    Hunter was also 10 pounds heavier than usual vs Povetkin, so not in his best shape conditioning wise.

    Back to Bakole, him vs Makhmudov would be one hell of a slugfest. If that one can't happen then maybe a fight with a big puncher like Helenius or Zhang could be fun.

    Yeah that would be a lot of fun for as long as it lasted and we might see it fairly soon too. That being said, I would advise both their teams to avoid that one for the time being unless it was for a final eliminator or world title

    I actually had Kuzmin winning that fight between them. Bakole looked very impressive vs Yoka though so all credit to him.
