I'd put JuanMa before I'd put caballero in a P4P list. GBO is the NWO of boxing.

Nope..Caballero is not GBP. But I don't think he should be there, there a lot other fighters who are far more deserving..

    Why :huh

He is clearly the top fighter at 140 & has been since he won that fight in your avater... he made KT quit... no ordinary fighter does that to ANY version of Kosta.

Hatton also looked amazing in his last fight vs a well regarded opponent, possibly the no2 at the weight, Malignaggi.

Dont get me wrong, Ricky might be around the 7-10 mark but its certainly no joke to see a top 10 list with him in it.

yeah but margo wasn't even top 20 p4p when cotto lost to him, and who are these much higher level of fighters cotto has beat, p4p #3 koysta is a better win than anything on cottos resume including a close win over mosely. and as far as the rest who are these much higher level fighters? cotto has never even beat a defending belt holder yet, he's only ever fought for vacant titles or defended a belt.

How about Vic Darchinyan, two division champ beating a P4P-er in Mijares? I don't get it. Calderon, Cotto and Mijares makes top10 without beating a single P4P-er. Margarito, Mosley makes top10 by beating one. Vic beat the **** out of Mijares ranked 7, and no place for him? Idiocy...

  14. Cotto should not be in there at the moment, he lost to margo who wasn't even in the top 20 p4p. and margo's just lost.

I think Hatton hould be 7-10 no doubt

To be fair, Caballero had a very good knockout win over a champ in Steve Molitor who had previously been impressive. I'm no fan, though, of this lark of putting fighters into the p4p rankings on the back of one big victory. Too often it's simply a case of styles making fights. Look at Pavlik, Margarito himself, Junior Jones, Vernon Forrest, Mayorga. All went into the p4p ratings off the back of one big upset victory and all went by the wayside fairly quickly. I like Shane as much as the next guy but he was terrible last time out with Mayorga and I don't honestly think he'll be at the top at 147 for too long. I see a lot of guys out there who could beat him, Williams (if he fights at 147 again), Cotto, possibly Clottey for a start.

For me, p4p should be based on sustained achievement over a long period of time. My p4p list would look as follows.

    1. Pacman
    2. Calzaghe
    3. JM. Marquez
    4. Hopkins
    5. Vazquez
    6. R. Marquez
    7. Calderon
    8. Hatton
    9. Cotto (yes, he has the most consistent body of work at welter apart from his loss to Margo which now has a huge "?" over it)
    10. Paul Williams

Next ten in no particular order, Wlad Klitchko, Chad Dawson, Kessler, Pavlik, Mosley, Chris John, Donaire, Darchinyan, Caballero, JuanMa Lopez.

Damn 122 is stacked right now!
