If that's your standard, then you should have Hatton rated well ahead of him.

    Valero??? Gonzalez???

    :patsch

To those rating Marquez #1, it's pure nuthuggery. Even if you think he beat Pac in the last fight (let the scorecards show that he officially didn't), the fight was close and the rest of Pac's resume blows Marquez's out of the water. Marquez has a pretty crappy resume for a top 3 P4P, especially considering that most of what got him up there was a loss and a draw.

  4. I know there are quite alot of yanks on here that are unable to think objectivly when it comes to British fighters.

Even though i'm not Joe's biggest fan he deffo deserves a No 2 spot

And Hatton deserves a 7-10 spot

and Willams and Cotto should not be on the list at the moment

The very obvious flaw in this one is that Cotto lost to Margo who lost to Mosley who lost to Cotto, so how can you do head to head? It makes no sense either way. What about Williams who beat Margo less convincingly than Shane and Quntana who went 1-1 with Williams but got destroyed by Cotto? Where do they fit in? It makes very little so, so you have to go by a guy's overall body of work. IMHO Cotto's is recent work is the best of the three and plus Margo's win over him now has a very large cloud over it.

    Hatton should be higher.

Dawson? I don't see it. Needs to beat someone within five years of his own age first. I would have Cotto and Williams in there, though the latter is arguable IMO.

Who exactly would you propose? None of the best fighters at LHW are young. I guess he could fight Diaconu or Cloud, but neither one is a big money fight, and it's pretty clear just from watching them that either one would only have a puncher's chance of winning.

Also, Adamek is within 5 years of his age and is still his best win, IMO.

Yeah definitely, your statement speaks echoes….’ No Mas!’ Hatton lost to, technically, the greatest fighter of the last 10 years, Cotto was battered, and took 2 knees against the most over rated welter weight in the history of pugilism.

Hatton is up for debate in a top 10 list or not

Cabellero on the other hand isnt, he barely even makes my top 30 fighters, and the bulk of him even making it there is because of resume, skillwise the man is still crude.
