I remember Marvin Hagler v Juan Roldan which caught my interest. I then looked out for his next fight - Mustafa Hamsho.

Following Hagler v Hearns I was an addict. However Tyson then arrived which fueled a 25 year habit.

Over the years since - Hamed probably gave me the biggest buzz

Sugar Ray Leonard and Mike Tyson.... and to a greater extent, Rocky Balboa.

I became a fan of Vargas because he was a young kid fighting grown ass men. Too bad he's like 300Ibs. now.

Iron Mike Tyson. I was born in 1980 and I can distinctly remember seeing the fight against Trevor Berbick. My older brother (and his friends) bought almost every PPV and taped most of his fights. I have officially became a bigger boxing fan since the early 90's though... heh

My grandfather was a big fan, so no, it wasn't one particular fighter that got me interested. However, there have been several over the years that got me very excited about the sport. For some reason I have a special fondness for skinny sluggers.

My grandmother would make me watch boxing when she would baby sit me. I had a quadrapalegic (sp?) uncle who would collect pennies, eh would bet me and my grandmother pennies. He was very knowedgeble in boxing, so he won most of the time.

I was about 6 years old.

Leonard, Tyson, Chavez and Paez are names I remember hearing or watching when I was just a little kid.

Yes, but I've outgrown that. I no longer try to associate with the fighters.

Hatton and Gatti brought me into Boxing along with the DLH-Trinidad fight. The whole atmosphere of that fight really jump started my love for Boxing and I started following it as a very young kid to now.
