One of the worst fights ive ever seen. Leites fought ***** like yes but you now what Silva was never EVER agressive in that fight. Anyone who calls Silva the best p4p is a complete an idiot.

No, I didn't. Silva should have taken him down, got on top of him and GNP his face. He had options but he wasn't taking them. P4P my arse. He's quality but GSP or Fedor are numero uno.

it was bleeding dire and anyone who says they enjoyed that is just trying to hide the fact that the p4p number 1 in mma fails to deliver a half exciting performance for the second time in a row

silva is so dependant on countering he chose not to offensively strike frequently last night as perhaps he is not the GREAT striker which his reputation has

dont get me wrong silva is a top 3 striker when countering but if he has to unload when someone isnt fighting back he just wont do it, i mean leites knew he was going to loose after the 2nd when he had silva down and his bjj was useless against silva, so he might as well of lost on his feet and not koed

let this be a lesson to andersons future opponents if you just want to survive dont throw any shots as silva wont attack until he can counter

i mean against cote silva experienced the booing and could of put things right in this fight but, had he of pushed it a bit more leites would of been forced to fight back in some way

one thing that got to me was he was in range for punches for maybe 30 to 40% of the fight and did he land 1 clean right hand or left hook your answer is no, also had leites been a knockout artist with ko power in his hands like cote for example you could forgive anderson slightly but it was lites whose striking is LIMITED

that was bleeding awful last night and i still havent seen a ufc fight that has had me on the edge of my seat this year, infact the last decent fight i saw was guida and the mexican american guy cant remember his name could of been nearly 2 years ago

To me Anderson Silva doesnt owe anyone ****, he is the champ, in my opinion its up to the pretenders to come and take that title from him.

Leitas kept dropping to the ground trying to avoid the standup and encourage Silva into a BJJ fight, well if I was champ and you want a bjj fight you better be able to take me down coz i sure as hell wouldnt be jumping into your game.

Bottom line is, the challenger should turn up and try and take that title, not hope the champion is stupid enough to play to your strengths.

Anderson is a counter striker, he will look like a monster any time he fights an offensive fighter and any time he fights a guy like Leites who was doing almost 100% defense... well obviously if there's nothing to counter not much will happen.

Bottom line is don't demand big payday if you don't deliver big payday performance. Title don't mean **** in terms of PPV. You can hold every damn belt there is but if people are not interested in you you won't sell the PPV.

PPV runs the MMA for people who don't understand the business. Its not about looking pretty. It is all about selling the product. Sure he dominated Leitas but you know what, 80% of the people who ordered the PPV didn't pay to see that. They saw a guy who was skills and light years ahead of Leitas. Silva did not have the killer/champion instinct to finish a guy he clearly was better then.

No i hated the fight. I kept waiting for something to happen but it never did. I understand the 1st round that silva was gonna take it easy to feel each other style out but after that i expected for him to attack.

Silva is showing off more than fighting in his last 2 fights. Against cote he did the same crap in the 1st and 2nd round. I was expecting silva to come out aggressive since he was disappointed of what happen in his last fight. I was disappointed at the outcome of the fight. It was hella boring.

Exactly, it unfair to put the blame on the Leites. At the end of the day both fighters deserve to be critisied as they both should have done more.

I had the crazy idea that the next day Dana was going to cut Silva. That would be a shocker. I suspect that if Silva pulls a BS performance like that again, Dana will either force a move up to 205 or get rid of him somehow. Dana is clever enough to know that shows like that harm the UFC brand at a time when they are making to move to a mainstream sport.

I voted NO because that was the worst fight I've seen in a long time. I say feed Silva to the 205s
