When Hearns lost Barkley in 1988 I think I did. That took a few days to get through. Then I noticed he did not retire and he scheduled to fight Kinchen, so I knew he was going to keep fighting and slowly I knew it was not retirement like most broadcaster wanted him to retire.

Real ****...I never cried but the worst Ive felt was watching my heroes get beating to a pulp at the end of it all....I will never forget knowing that Holmes stopped Ali, but watching it first hand as a kid man, it was hard it was like watching your dad get his ass handed to him, also when Jones got kayoed by Johnson and watching his body get stiff and laying on the ground all that time, man it was like watching a relative take a beating....I was at home from college I believe Jones/Johnson was in 05 and my mom was like boxing is on and Jones is fighting and the whole while im waiting for him to do something and he looks scared stiif about being hit, felt the kayo to Tarver was just a lucky punch but it opened my eyes... boom the right didnt even look that hard man I jump up didnt watch the count and popped open a beer and lit a cigarette I knew it was all over both times.both fights were an end to an era

the only time in my 24 years of watching boxing that I truely felt sad watching whose fights....Both guys were past their best and lost to guys I know they'd beat if they had even a little bit of what they had left.

The documentary about Chavez Taylor was very sad. I felt so bad for Taylor seeing him all messed up and slurring.

Tyson-Lewis was pretty close for me. Rahman-Holyfield had me VERY concerned as Holyfield kept punching the hematoma and I felt danger was imminent.

    Ali Holmes

How did they let the fight happen

Ali's health was going downhill even before the fight

That Ali-Holmes documentary was properly sad, don't think I cried. I can never watch it again though.

I almost cried when Gomez destroyed Gatti and ended his career. It was sad to see.

    RIP Thunder btw.
